Launched in April 2021, PAIRS runs two cohorts annually. With Arab professionals making up only a small percentage of the high-tech workforce despite representing a significant share of the population, PAIRS works to close this gap by breaking down barriers between students and the industry. Through one-on-one mentorship, students gain direct exposure to the realities of the high-tech world. Learning what to expect, how to plan their careers, and how to make informed decisions. Our mission is to create a thriving, connected community that shares knowledge, opens opportunities, and empowers the next generation to succeed in the high-tech sector. Program Structure Pairs Mentorship & Networking Program is open for registration twice a year and consists of three main stages: registration, interview, and academic records. The pairing is done based on the mentee's goals and the mentor's expertise. Mentors will meet with their mentees over a 4 months period with 10 hours in total, with a focus on addressing specific jointly-identified challenges facing the mentee to start their career and get involved in the High-Tech sector. If you’ve yet to raise any money, you are more than welcome to apply. The program is best suited for startups that have generated less than $2M in annual revenue or have raised less than $1M. Please note these are guidelines, not firm requirements. We realize that in some markets, startups are considered early-stage with greater initial funding. Paving your way in Hi-Tech Hasoub PAIRS , is a newly-lunched pilot program that connects Arab students from the Tech field with mentors from the Hi-Tech sector, the program is open for registration twice a year. mentors will meet with thier mentee over 4 months period with 16 hours in total, with a focus on addressing specific jointly-identified challenges facing the mentee to start his/her career and get involved in the Hi-Tech sector. The Hasoub Boston Accelerator is designed for Arab-led startups. Eligible startups should have completed their Pre-seed or Seed funding rounds, possess a committed team, and be at an advanced stage of R&D or have a market-ready product/MVP. In partnership with MIT’s Sandbox, The Hasoub - MIT Sandbox Boston Accelerator will support eight startups over an 8-week period. Participants will benefit from in-residence services near MIT’s Cambridge campus, encompassing coaching, workshops, and comprehensive guidance in customer discovery to penetrate the American market. TARGET AUDIENCE Hasoub - MIT Sandbox Boston Accelerator is designed for Arab-led startups. Office Manager Hasoub is a grassroots NGO paving the way for the coming generation of Arab tech-entrepreneurs and early-stage investors. We are constantly growing our programs and activities, and are on the lookout for the newest addition to our dynamic and unique team! We are seeking an office manager who can manage the administrative issues at Hasoub, assists with CEO tasks, handels basic accounting materials, and manages paperwork for various authorities. Requirements: 1-3 years of administrative assistant experience Preference for previous experience working in a startup or non-profit Experience in accounting work - an advantage. Ability to work independently, with multiple interface work and to multitask. Good English proficiency. OFFICE software control.
