Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Hasoub, a leading non-profit organization promoting technology and entrepreneurship in the Arab society.
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all financial aspects in Hasoub, including preparing multi-year budgets, controlling expenses, meeting revenue targets, reporting to the board of directors and more.

50% - 75% capacity with an option for a full-time position.

Work from Hasoub’s office in Arara

Responsibilities

  • Budget Management: Build and manage annual and multi-year budgets, ensuring alignment with Hasoub's strategic goals. Track budget performance and prepare periodic financial reports.

  • Work Plan Oversight: Oversee Hasoub’s annual work plan and monitor progress toward achieving economic goals.Analyze data and trends to assess performance and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Financial System and Reporting: Maintain the organization's financial system, including bookkeeping and accounting records. Collaborate with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

  • Donor and Government Reporting: Prepare financial reports and budget requests for donors and relevant government agencies.

  • Procurement and Contracts: Oversee procurement processes, including negotiations and contracts with suppliers. Manage payments to suppliers and vendors in a timely manner.

  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations. Work with auditors and regulatory authorities during financial audits and examinations.

  • Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations. Oversee banking relationships. 

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process. Conduct financial forecasting and modeling. 

  • Payroll and Compensation Management: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Certified accountant with at least 5 years of experience.

  • Proven experience in managing annual budgets over NIS 3 million. including experience in procurement and logistics management.

  • Familiarity with the working environment of civil society organizations.

  • Knowledge and experience in implementing and working with information systems and data-based management.

  • Ability to lead processes to build a knowledge and data oriented organization.

  • Native Arabic. proficiency in  Hebrew and English.

  • Knowledge of various financial and accounting management software.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Analytical analysis ability.
